Welcome to the Timmins Research Group
The Cardiovascular Pathomechanics (CVPM) Laboratory in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Utah is a multidisciplinary group that studies the role of biomechanics in cardiovascular disease development, progression, and therapeutic intervention. We aim to develop experimental and computational approaches to characterize physiologic mechanical environments and understand how mechanical stimuli drive pathologic processes, with the underlying goal of advancing clinical diagnosis and informing clinical management decisions. We encourage you to explore our website to learn about the exciting projects and dedicated members in our laboratory.
